Complete Building Services is tasked to operate and maintain National World War II Memorial
Washington, DC – On September 6, 2006, Complete Building Services, a division of The Donohoe Companies, Inc. was awarded a contract for full facilities operations and maintenance of the of the National World War II Memorial by the National Parks Service.
“Complete Building Services is honored to be chosen to provide our services to such a prestigious site,” said David E. Barry, Jr., President of Complete Building Service. “We will take great pride in maintaining this memorial that honors our service men and women who served in the United States Armed Forces during WWII.”
The National World War II Memorial was dedicated on May 29, 2004 and is operated by the National Park Service. Located between the Lincoln Memorial and the Washington Monument on 17th Street, between Constitution and Independence Avenues, it is the first national memorial dedicated to the 16 Million men and women who served in the U.S. armed forces during World War II, including those who died in combat and the Americans who supported the war effort on the home front.
